What a great time we had at Beginner’s Prairie Dogs. Many thanks to all those who came and really got into the spirit of joining in – you made it a very enjoyable evening. Huge thanks to Manchester Pride for supplying the buffet, giving us the energy to get through the unseasonably warm evening.

August Bank Holiday saw the Prairie Dogs back at Pride doing their annual outdoor dance session at the Thompsons Arms. Many thanks to Phil and all the staff for getting us set up!

The Prairie Dogs went as Betrothed and Guests at this year’s Pride Parade, followed by a stint on the Village Stage. Thanks to all concerned – a great day was had by all!

Huge thanks to Jeremy Hoad, our local DJ (and PopMaster winner) Vicky and Levenshulme Pride for having us back in the Klondyke beer garden. The rain didn’t stop us (much) but it did mess up the microphone so we couldn’t teach a dance as we’d planned. Thankfully, we managed to get most of our set…

What a wonderful day we had yesterday at Stockport Pride! Thanks to all our dancers who turned out to perform, and thanks to everyone who supported us!!

What a great day we had, despite the thunderstorms. We still managed to cram in 26 dances before the final Tush Push. Thanks to everyone who came and stayed for the photo. Thanks to Dave at the REM bar for creating the dance space. And we hope to see you all in July!

A lovely couple of hours was spent at the Prairie Dog Picnic – socialising, with a bit of dancing, at sunny Turn Moss. But as soon as we heard the first thunder clap – it was Tush Push time! We hope you didn’t get too wet on the way home!

What a wonderful day May 21st was for our first outdoor session outside The REM Bar. Many thanks to Dave for hosting us, Andy for the photo and everyone for their patience (for my first time DJing) and stamina (in this glorious weather). We’ll be back at the end of June!

The Prairie Dogs were at Bury Pride at the end of April. They did a few dances and taught one of our beginner favourites “Shivers 101”. And it’s just the first of our many outdoor sessions – check out our calendar for more dates.
