This year’s Manchester Pride Parade’s overall theme was LOVE, so Prairie Dogs were very excited to showcase our entry demonstrating our love and support for the Trans and Non-Binary communities. It was one of our biggest ever entries with 50 participants, headed up fabulously by Elliott – he and the troupe did us Proud!

It was great to see you all enjoying yourselves and sharing an amazing Jacob’s Table. 50 dancers! Great effort from the Committee once again. Have a great Christmas and we’ll see you in 2025!

What a Terror-mendous night we had at our Halloween Social! Huge thanks to everyone who brought food for the Jacob’s Table – the bar was heaving with tasty goodies and was much appreciated! Thanks to everyone who came along, took part and made the MPD Halloween a roaring success. Well Done, Committee!

Great turnout for our last Outdoor Dancing of 2024. And some count in practice for our Halloween social (29th October). Hope everyone got home safely. Big thanks to The Rem Bar for hosting us all summer.

Wet weather isn’t for everyone but we had a good turnout. A break in the weather gave us nearly 25 dances and several passers by. Thanks to Ben for the photo and to David for the photobomb 🙂

Amazing Beginner’s Night tonight, you all did fab! Thank you to members and regulars for making everyone feel welcome and included. Shout out to the committee for buying the raffle prizes, running the raffle and meeting and greeting and sorting the pizzas

After months of planning and weeks of rehearsals, we had a great day at Pride. 26 dancers and 5 volunteer water carriers stepped and hitched their way along the 1 mile route. Thanks also to our volunteer driver and local company ‘Tube’ who provided the sound equipment. We danced to songs with either a bee…
